Fastweb: A database enabling students to locate funding and scholarships using specific categories of study and criteria to narrow searches

In Connecticut, "Special Education Teachers" and "Speech and Language Pathologists" are currently federally designated educator shortage areas, and such individuals who are employed in Connecticut schools (as verified by their school principal) are eligible to apply for loan forgiveness in some federal loan programs and the state's Teachers Mortgage Assistance Program offered by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority
