Message from the Editor
by Esther Levegnale

Hi, Everyone! Let me first say that I am flattered to have been asked to be the editor of the Federationist! I also want to thank those who have contributed articles for this issue. They are certainly quite diverse and include topics from fictional submissions, to reprinted articles on the proposed selection of electronic voting machines for the state, with a few new developments, and Joyce Kane's fascinating trip to India.

I want to make this newsletter interesting and fun, too. Just for something new and interesting, I am including a section which I'll call "On The Blind Side". Write to me about your experiences that any of you have had over the years-unusual happenings at a grocery store? Incidents with guide dogs? Different experiences with cane travel? Let me know!

I hope you enjoy this issue of the Federationist and I welcome any suggestions you have. So sit back, relax and enjoy! The Federationist is comin' atcha!
