Verbal Imaging Tour Program at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art

The Verbal Imaging Tour is a free service created especially for blind or low vision visitors to the museum. Arranged in advance, a specially trained docent will provide a guided tour of the permanent collection or a special exhibition, offering detailed verbal descriptions of the works of art. These tours are for adults and are offered one-on-one in order to meet specific needs.

Visitors may choose an introductory Highlights Tour or a tour of any of the museum's current special exhibitions. For a complete listing of what's on view, go to www.wadsworthatheneum.org.

To schedule or to learn more about the Verbal Imaging Tour, call (860) 838-4049. Please allow three weeks notice to book your tour. This program is free with museum admission and service animals are welcome.
