Is holding a Writing Contest!

Topic of Essay: Why I like Being a Blind Person
Deadline: August 15, 2009

Entrants for this contest must be legally blind residents of Connecticut. All double-spaced, typed entries of 500 words or less must be original, previously unpublished and must be accompanied by this cover sheet. Please submit entries by mail to the NFB of CT, 477 Connecticut Blvd, Ste 217, East Hartford, CT 06108 or by email to info@nfbct.org. This information is also available on our website: www.nfbct.org.

The winner of the contest will be announced at the September Board Meeting of the NFB of CT. The winner will receive free lodging and registration at our 38th Annual State Convention to be held November 6, 7 & 8 at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel in East Hartford. (If the winner is under 18, he/she must be accompanied by an adult to the convention.)
